From Young Talent to Bodybuilding Elite

Wesley Vissers is a Dutch IFBB Pro athlete in the Classic Physique category, born in 1993.

His passion for strength training was awakened early by his father. At the age of 14, he began targeted strength training in order to build up impressive muscles.

Career and Successes in Bodybuilding

Together with his brother, he founded his own clothing brand "Vintage Genetics". In 2019, he founded his own supplement brand "Gladiator Sports Pro". However, he abandoned this and switched to Team ESN a short time later.

In 2017, Wesley Vissers secured victory at the Royal London Pro Qualifier and received his IFBB Pro Card – as one of the first athletes in the Classic Physique category.

A year later, in 2018, he won the Chicago Pro Show, qualifying for the Mr. Olympia for the first time.

Over the years he participated in numerous bodybuilding competitions, with varying results.

In 2024 he won the Arnold Classic, which caused a sensation.

Comparison with Legends and Mr. Olympia 2024

Wesley Vissers is different from the typical Classic Physique athlete. While competitors like Chris Bumstead embody a more modern look, Wesley's physique is reminiscent of the Arnold Schwarzenegger era - broad shoulders, a narrow waist and a classic aesthetic.

After his impressive victories at the Arnold Classic Ohio and the Arnold Classic UK, he was considered one of the top favorites for the 2024 Mr. Olympia. In the end, he finished in 8th place - a solid success, but certainly not his last attempt to win the title.

Collaboration with Top Bodybuilding Coach Stefan Kienzl & Private Life

Since 2021, Vissers has been working with the successful Austrian coach Stefan Kienzl, who specializes in bodybuilding coaching and helps athletes refine their bodybuilder fitness plan.

Kienzl, who also coaches Urs Kalecinski and many other IFBB athletes, is known for his effective competition preparation.

Wesley lives with his fiancée Marly Nooijen and his two children in a small village in the Netherlands.

Together they own 100% FitGym.
