Ramon Rocha Queiroz, better known as “Ramon Dino”, is one of the most successful Brazilian bodybuilding athletes in the Classic Physique category.

The Path From the Favelas to the Gym And to Mr. Olympia

The Brazilian, born in 1995, is considered the best Classic Physique athlete in Brazil. Growing up in the Brazilian favelas, he was discovered early on in a gym by a coach who recognized his talent.

Ramon saw this as his big chance to build a life outside the favelas. He devoted himself entirely to strength training to realize his dream of becoming a professional bodybuilder.

Today he is married to his wife Vitviana and has two children.

Ramon Dino's Path to the IFBB Pro-Card

Ramon received his first major recognition in 2018 when he won his IFBB Pro Card at the Brazilian Olympia Amateur competition.

After participating in the Empro (Spain), he secured his first Mr. Olympia qualification for the Mr. Olympia 2021.

There he – just like Urs Kalecinski – stood on the biggest stage in bodybuilding for the first time.

Since the beginning of his professional career, he has been coached by Chris Aceto, a leading expert in bodybuilding coaching, who has also coached other top athletes in strength sports. His Brazilian sponsor "Max Titanium" has been supporting him on his journey since 2021.

Ramon Dino vs. Urs Kalecinski – The Competition for the Mr. Olympia

Compared to other Classic Physique top athletes, Ramon has a more classic bodybuilding line with extremely full and round muscles.

Nevertheless, he has consistently placed in the top 5 at the last four Mr. Olympia competitions and even won the prestigious Arnold Classic Ohio in 2022.

He is one of Urs Kalecinski's biggest rivals in the race for the next Mr. Olympia title. But off the stage, the two have a friendly relationship - despite a slight language barrier.

Kalecinski has already visited Ramon in Brazil, where they trained together and were able to learn from each other.
